My Word for 2022 - Courage

The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.”― Coco Chanel

Did you pick a word for 2022?

I started picking a word for the year a few years ago and this year my word was Courage.

There are multiple definitions of Courage, but basically, it comes down to having the ability to do something that seems scary.

We are midway through 2022, and I thought I'd check in to see how I am doing on the Courage front...

As one who believes in the Law of Attraction, when you choose the word Courage, naturally, you are faced with multiple opportunities to embrace Courage.

It takes Courage to take responsibility for your actions, regardless of your intentions.

It takes Courage to stay true to your word, especially when desires tug at your heart to choose something easier.

It takes Courage to try something new, and different when it is perceived as hard.

It takes Courage to pick yourself up when you don't meet your expectations.

It takes Courage to let go of your need to control others.

It takes Courage to be ok with disappointment and discomfort.

It takes Courage to grow because staying in your comfort zone is easier.

It takes Courage to be your authentic self, not everyone will like you.

And so Courage is good for me, and I am growing.
